CERMI is a national non profit organisation, created on 9 January 1997, under the Spanish "Associations Act" of 24 December 1964, registered in the National Register of Associations, number 162.062 (Resolution of 28 February 1997). CERMIS's Statutes have been endorsed by the Spanish Internal Affaires Ministry (Resolution of 24 March 1997)
